Joined the practice in June 2004.
Has an additional qualification in Child Health. Is a GP tutor with Nottingham University, so sometimes teaches medical students. Has extra experience in sports medicine as was the team/club doctor for Mansfield Town Football Club 1995 – 2009.
Does minor surgery eg for cysts, ingrowing toenails, warty lesions, skin tags, benign moles and knee joint injections.
Meets with the patient participation group quarterly.

Our Practice Nurse runs various clinics on an appointment basis. Her services include cervical smears, childhood immunisations, travel vaccines, ear syringing, teenage clinics, family planning (not the insertion of IUD’s, IUS’s or implants), weight management, dietary advice, smoking cessation, chronic disease management eg: for Diabetes, Asthma and COPD, Epilepsy reviews,coronary care and stroke reviews.
Mental health reviews and patients with Learning Disabilities.
Blood pressure management and follow up reviews.
Advice re: cholesterol and discusses potential cardio vascular risk assessments in line with government targets.
She is responsible for clinical protocols and audit in the practice.

Jackie joined the practice in August 2019. She works on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays offering both pre bookable and book on the day appointments..
Jackie has worked in Hospital as a ward leader within medicine and has also worked in Surgery and Children’s othopaedics.
Before joining our Practice Jackie worked in the community as a community matron and also as an ANP in the urgent response team.
